Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Kandy - Ella - Yala - Galle - Unawatuna - Mirissa - Colombo. Day 1-2: Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Dambulla Cave Temple, a village tour and cooking experience, Polonnaruwa Ancient City, and an elephant safari. Overnight in Sigiriya (2 nights). Day 3: Polonnaruwa's Royal Palace, Gal Vihara and Parakrama Samudra. Overnight in Polonnaruwa. Day 4-5: Matale's spice gardens on the way to Kandy, then the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Royal Botanical Gardens, gem/batik/wood-carving workshops, and a cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy (2 nights). Day 6-8: Ramboda Falls, tea country and Nuwara Eliya, continuing to Ella for the Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ella Rock and Ravana Waterfall/Cave. Overnight in Ella (3 nights). Day 9-10: Buduruwagala Temple en route to Yala, followed by a Yala National Park jeep safari for leopards, elephants and birdlife. Overnight in Yala / Tissamaharama (2 nights). Day 11-13: The southern coast - Galle Fort, Unawatuna and Jungle Beach, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Mirissa Beach, Coconut Tree Hill, and optional whale watching. Overnight in Galle / Unawatuna / Mirissa (3 nights). Day 14: Scenic coastal stops on the way to Colombo. Overnight in Colombo. Day 15: A Colombo city tour before your airport transfer.
